As a college and high school science teacher, speaking in front of people has been a large part of, and probably the best part of my job. To make things interesting for students, of different levels and abilities, I've used character voices, practiced varying volume and tone, and learned to read conversationally by necessity. 

I got into voice acting because it takes some of the parts of teaching that I really love and condenses them into one really fun career. Whether its commercials, audio books, or characters, entertaining and educating students has really made me feel like I can handle anything. "
